RADA UNII EUROPEJSKIEJ,

uwzględniając Traktat ustanawiający Wspólnotę Europejską, w szczególności jego art. 263 akapit czwarty,

uwzględniając Akt Przystąpienia Bułgarii i Rumunii, w szczególności jego art. 13 i 49,

uwzględniając propozycje rządów Republiki Bułgarii i Rumunii,

a także mając na uwadze, co następuje:

(1) Decyzją Rady 2006/116/WE (¹) mianowani zostali członkowie i zastępcy członków Komitetu Regionów na okres od dnia 26 stycznia 2006 r. do dnia 25 stycznia 2010 r.

(2) W następstwie przystąpienia Republiki Bułgarii i Rumunii do Unii Europejskiej należy uzupełnić skład Komitetu Regionów, mianując dwudziestu siedmiu członków i dwudziestu siedmiu zastępców członków - przedstawicieli wspólnot regionalnych i lokalnych nowych państw członkowskich, którzy posiadają mandat wyborczy społeczności regionalnej lub lokalnej albo są politycznie odpowiedzialni przed wybieralnym zgromadzeniem,

STANOWI, CO NASTĘPUJE:

Artykuł 1

Niniejszym mianuje się członkami lub zastępcami członków Komitetu Regionu na okres do dnia 25 stycznia 2010 r. włącznie:

- członkami - osoby wymienione w wykazie w załączniku I, z podziałem na państwa członkowskie,

- zastępcami członków - osoby wymienione w wykazie w załączniku II, z podziałem na państwa członkowskie.

Artykuł 2

Niniejsza decyzja staje się skuteczna z dniem jej przyjęcia.

Niniejszą decyzję stosuje się od dnia 1 stycznia 2007 r.

Sporządzono w Brukseli, dnia 1 stycznia 2007 r.
